First off, lets all give a collective "Ouch!" for this girl's knee. That looks outrageously painful. Next, let's all give a collectively suspicious "Really?" for this guy's story. I don't want to be a doubting Thomas, but my name happens to be Tom and I'm not sure I believe this guy's story. The guy put the pics up over at IGN and here's what he said...
I have an interesting Wii story. On Thanksgiving Day one of my co-worker's daughter injured herself while playing Wii Sports tennis. Apparently she dislocated her knee while wearing heels playing the game. I've attached a couple of photos. Looks as if interactive entertainment will also increase medical bills!
This is where it gets a little odd. Those are some pretty amazing pictures, and his story seems a little light on content. How did it happen? Was she jumping? All he's got is that she was wearing heels, and that seems a little odd to me. Furthermore, when I grabbed the picture off of photobucket it was named "Wiiinjuryedit.jpg" and I want to know why he felt the need to put "edit" on the end of that. There are many other questions I have including why we are just hearing about it now if it happened on Thanksgiving, and why did he decide to put black bars over everyones eyes. I would really like to hear that my doubts are for nothing and he's got some more pictures for us to back up his story, but for now I'm a little dubious as to the veracity of his photographs and commentary.
