This particular bit of goodness is just too good to be true. I mean you sit around the house all day waiting for something this delicious to come along. We have our first broken bone kiddies. This guy is my hero for today. Giving it all, and I mean ALL to get that high score on the Wii. I'll let his friend break it down for you, and by break it down I mean the story not this dude's bone..
"The other day I was playing a little Wii bowling with a customer service guy and a community guy. It was customer service guy's first time playing, and it took him a while to get the hang of it. Customer service guy and community guy especially like to talk smack, butt heads, and one-up each other.
Next up was a homerun derby, and this was when the shit went down. Customer service guy grabbed the wiimote two-handed like a real baseball bat, hunkered down, and eyed the pitcher with his steely gaze. Here comes the pitch: Customer service guy swings mightily, connects solidly, and jacks it over the wall to right-field. Home run! Exept for one thing: he swung so hard that the follow through caused his lead arm to swing up wildly, and he'd heard a pop followed by a sharp pain. He took a moment to compose himself, then stepped back up to the plate. About 20 minutes later, customer service guy notices a large lump on his clavicle, on his left side, the side of his lead arm, which was still hurting him pretty bad. After going to the doctor, we found out today that customer service guy fractured his clavicle. He fractured his clavicle playing a Wii homerun derby. That's gotta be a first. -Mike"
A first indeed Mike. Oh sure we've have some lacerations and bruised egos but this is the first structural damage we've seen sustained by the human body. It's just so beautiful. I'm getting a little misty-eyed here. |
